How much does IKEA kitchen installation cost in Budapest?
IKEA kitchens — 2026-05-28
Installing an IKEA kitchen in Budapest is far cheaper than a custom kitchen, but the final price depends on three things: the number of cabinets, the worktop, and the connections (sink, plumbing, electrics, appliances). As a rough guide, fitting labour for a small kitchen typically starts in the lower tens of thousands of forint and rises with size and complexity; a large METOD kitchen with an island costs considerably more.
What's usually included in the fitting: assembling and levelling the cabinets, fixing them to the wall, mounting doors and drawers, fitting the worktop, and connecting the sink and tap. What's quoted separately: electrical and gas connections, tiling, removing an old kitchen, and the IKEA products themselves — you buy those.
